Well, I had to make the announcement to my Janes...We got engaged on Saturday!!  Everything about our day was perfect.  We spent all morning in St. Augustine at the Lighthouse and the afternoon fishing.  Then, just as I was getting ready to go to dinner, my boyfriend said, "Hey call Gus (our dog), I'm gonna go outside and get something."  Gus was SO cute.  He had a new, fancy black and silver collar on with a note attached to it that said, "Mom, please join Dad outside when you are finished getting ready. Love, Gus"  My heart definitely skipped a beat!!  It was dark when I walked outside so it was tough to see, but when I looked over to the oak tree beside his house (my favorite spot in the world.  Beautiful big oak tree sitting on the water) I saw lanterns with candles glowing, hanging from the tree branches.  Then, I saw the little round table with the white table cloth, roses, champagne and our adirondack chairs beside it.  The best part of all...Marshall standing beside the table,balling! It was amazing!!  He could barely keep it together, but when I said yes we both cried and laughed and jumped and hugged.  We sat outside under the candles and drank champagne and talked for a couple of hours, before he took me to an awesome dinner at the Casa Monica in St. Augustine.  

I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day, and now I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him!!  

Now onward to wedding planning...yikes!  Oh yeah...and I had to show off the ring!! :)  more pictures coming soon..
