My empty nest is filled with bassinet, bouncy chair, crib and clothes again. No, no kids moved back in, but I am ready for my newest granddaughter, Kayleigh Josephine's first visit. Born on August 10 - a whopping 9 lbs 4 oz.
Congratulations on your latest family addition. You are going to have so much fun. It has been amazing for me to see my parents go gaga over their first grandchild. She's getting far more attention and quality time from them than I ever did growing up. We visited them last weekend and they were constantly cooing, playing, feeding, washing, dressing, changing and walking her. It was a win win for all of us. I got a little down time and they got some wonderful grandparent bonding time.
Thank you - I do love to spoil them and then send them home time and time again. LOL
