PERSONAL BACKGROUND I was born in San Francisco and started school there, in the Sunset District, and then my parents moved us to Marin County, just north, over the Golden Gate Bridge. I grew up with my sister, Yelena, my brother Kiril, and my three cousins who lived across the street from us. We were all water kids, boating in the Delta on my grandfather's converted 63-foot PT boat, swimming, water skiing, jet skiing and just having fun. I was well on my way to professional ballet when my life took a turn and I met and married Steve, a great guy, who is in the management field. We now live in The Woodlands and love it! My family is thriving here. We have two wonderful daughters, who flirt with the world of ballet & swimming, and just know they will be CEOs of the world when they grow up!
