I'm a Georgia native, but flew the coop in my early twenties to experience life outside of the south. My first stop was Jackson Hole, Wyoming where I fell in love with everything outdoors: skiing, hiking, climbing, fishing, rafting, etc… My next stop was Los Angeles for an eight year stint and then on to Miami. After 13-years, I’ve come full circle moving to Jacksonville to be as close to family as possible.
My entire career has been spent in advertising. It is something that I accidently fell into and has been such a wonderful ride. I've been very lucky to work for great agencies and on cool brands. Best of all, the ad industry is where I’ve met most of my closest friends. It has also allowed me to travel a great deal…probably my #1 passion in life.
Three years ago, I married (technically remarried, but that is a whole other story). Being that I was 34, we immediately tried to start a family. Easier said than done…it’s amazing that you try for years not to get pregnant and then when you're ready, you discover how hard it can actually be. Well, finally, after three heartbreaking tries, the fourth one took. My husband Jim and I just welcomed our absolutely beautiful, sleeping-through-the-night at 10-weeks daughter into the world. I’m finding that my life as I’ve know it for 36 years has forever changed…and that is an understatement.
