Just your typical, classy, genuine southernbelle who loves her momma & will always be daddy's little girl. Oh, and I love SEC, Florida Gator, Football! I write music, I sing music. My music is the innerworkings and stories of my life, all of the good, bad and often unexplainable. My music is raw and imperfect but it's mine. I have so many passions! I'm the most loyal friend you will ever have. I love my Savior, love my boyfriend, love getting to know people for the very first time, love excellent chardonnay, Dodgers baseball, GATORNATION, japanese food, scrapbooking, photography, kickboxing! music, guitar, bargain shopping, song writing, oil painting, iced black coffee with a tad of milk, exploring, getting the most out of this temporary life on earth, Biggest Loser and Ghost Whisperer (my two guiltiest pleasures), dancing, laughter, early morning runs on the beach, cooking new things (it's theraputic!), my weaknesses, my life, my family, my friends, my future, following in my wonderful daddy's foot steps and living my life making him proud from Heaven.
My daddy just lost his battle to cancer 9/6/09 and left his physical suffering and joined God's wonderful realm of angels in Heaven. There isn't a day that goes by when I haven't been thankful for my daddy and all the love he shared. It takes a strong and loving man to adopt two little girls and take them into his life as his own children -- and my sister and I are so very grateful to have been given a wonderful father like him.
Interning at a PR Agency, I'm the communications director for my campaign class and the 2010 Beaches Habitat for Humanity campaign (which takes up a great deal of my time lately), I still manage to work about 35 hours a week at BCBS of SC and....... I'M GRADUATING COLLEGE IN DECEMBER! Aside from that -- I'm really trying to remember what to do with my "down time". For the past 18 months I took care of my daddy as he battled his cancer but he passed away in early September so now I have to find other things to "do" with the time I spent taking care of him. I love staying active & working on my health (then again, that's just another distraction from the reality of more serious issues at hand...) I love kickboxing!!! And... I'm really an open book so don't hesitate to ask me anything!
My motto? Our strength is often shown in our ability to stand still and trust God! :-)
