I am recently retired from 18 years as an Office Manager for a Jacksonville Beach chiropractor, and 3 weeks ago started my new "career," taking care (with the help of my husband of 41 years) of my 3-1/2 month old granddaughter, Olivia - and I'm loving every minute of it! Well, to be honest, I'd like it better if Olivia would consistently take the 3-hour afternoon nap - known as "The Big Sleep" - my daughter, Kristen described, but so far that's been hit-or-miss. My husband, a retired Navy Captain, and I are originally from Baltimore but spent the first 28 years of our marriage moving - usually across country - every 2-3 years. I thank God every day that we were led to settle here in Jacksonville, FL and can't believe that we've actually lived in the same house for 18 years! We have 2 terrific children (Kevin and Kristen), a super son-in-law (Rick), and 3 beautiful granddaughters (Kaitlyn, who lives with our son, and Anna and Olivia who live with our daughter and son-in-law), all within 5 miles of us. What a gift!!
