Ever since I was a little girl I've wanted to be a veterinarian. I had every animal in the book as a pet and even bred them for certain characteristics. I showed horses. I carried a pug with me everywhere I went. I finally got to college (George Mason University) and studied biology and chemistry for majors & genetics. I had back to back labs. Finally, one day, I looked up from my microscope and said "where are the puppies!" I then went on a fateful trip to Orlando and happened to visit UCF. I took a tour and saw their TV production studio and I was hooked! I have now been an advertising broadcast producer for 27ish years and still love it. And at 51, I have to tell ya, I am happier, and in the best shape physically, mentally, spiritually than ever before. I think I'm in the prime of my life.
