What if? We've all played that game in our heads or even out loud with our spouses or best friends. What if we moved to a different city? What if I went back to school to get an advanced degree? What if we won the lottery? (That's one of my favorites.) What if I could do what I love most and get paid well to do it?
Kat Gordon, founder and creative director of Maternal Instinct , a marketing-to-mothers creative consultancy, answered that last question while she was at home caring for her two young children and missing aspects of her life as a former writer for Sports Illustrated and a senior copywriter at a big ad agency.
