"Hope For Haiti Now"

On Friday night, the "Hope For Haiti Now" telethon raised $58 million towards relief efforts for the Haiti earthquake survivors.  We hear so much gossip news about our stars, but when they and their fans come together for good, amazing things can happen.  Not only did America raise $58 million during the telethon, they are still counting the sales from iTunes and cooperate donations.  This week, we have 2 requests.

One: if you had all the money in the world, how would you help the haitian survivors?  Would you bring orphans to the United States? Televise and all-star game to raise funds?  Share your thoughts below.

Two: if you haven't already, take a minute to think about how you can help.  Whether it's a small donation or moral support for volunteers and survivors, there is something you can do. Jane asks you take the time to make a difference.

I think the first step in helping the haitian survicors invovles setting up the infrastructure in Haiti for people to receive the items they need whetehr it's medical, food, housing, clothing - and then to foster the ongoing recovery process to get people on their feet again for the long term. My husband's company set up a Haiti releif fund that employees could donate to and then they are matching the donations.
